Looking for a Human Security “Theme Song”

January 16, 2009

I am looking for a human security “theme song” which I could incorporate into some human security podcasts that I am developing.   Bob Marley’s “Get Up, Stand Up”  is one obvious choice (click on the link below to hear it).   Any other (especially non-English) suggestions?

Love Generation – By Bob Sinclar as well =P

A lot of earlier Bob Sinclar songs have this kind of world peace and harmony kind of theme to it.

    Redemption Song – Bob Marley

I think this is a nice song that fits with the course.

“For What It’s Worth” by Buffalo Springfield is definitely my top choice too!
The Byrds “Wasn’t Born To Follow” is a beautiful 1960’s hippie song with poetic words: very peaceful too.
John Lennon has some good ones, for instance the classic “Imagine” but “Power To The People” appeals to me too 😉
