Re-constructing the world map

Let me bring a bit of simplicity in the debate (don’t laugh!).

The problem with positivist academic approaches (such as Realism, Liberalism and Marxism) is that they try to give a definite answer, to draw a general law out of a specific observation. In the process they remove the specifics of the circumstances, they take their conclusion out of context.

Well, context is everything!

Here is a challenge to some of the popular idea around globalization and a reminder for all of us that we should check from time to time the basic assumptions and facts behind our theoretical perspectives.
